Ban Rai Temple

The temple where Luang Por Khun Parisuttho, the most revered monk in Nakhon Ratchasima, spent his monastic life. A museum on the grounds tells his story and keeps the everyday objects he used, and it stands as a memorial to a generosity that is hard to overstate: he funded the building of three hospitals as well as schools, and gave away hundreds of thousands of baht a month to public health work.
